65 million people in the U.S. are on Twitter. 34% log in every day! That’s a lot of eyes on your message. If the 140 character count has been a deterrent to your business embracing this technology, check out these Twitter upgrades:
- @names are no longer counted in the total character count allowing you to give credit where credit is due.
- This one is huge. Visual attachments like photos, GIFs, videos or polls no longer eat up those precious characters! This is important because Tweets with images are nearly twice as likely to be retweeted. Great images are really worth the effort if they get your message across visually. And now, character free!
- Enamored by your prior tweeting wittiness or awesome announcement? Revive that tweet with some extra love. You can now easily Retweet or Quote Tweet yourself.
- Finally, if you never knew why you had to put a period in front of the @ sign at the beginning of a tweet. Forget it. Requirement gone. New tweets that begin with @ will automatically reach all of your followers no matter where they are inserted.
Look for these and other Twitter enhancements like streaming sports, politics, and entertainment.
We look forward to seeing you on Twitter @LuxePros!
