The Independent Woman Luncheon has become one of the Valley’s most beautiful and beloved philanthropic events. Enjoying its 9th year of signature tabletop décor, the luncheon celebrated the Valley’s premier design community as they came together in support of the Phoenix Art Museum’s commitment to excellence in the visual arts and education.
On March 26 the event continued in the tradition of honoring a high-profile designer as the keynote speaker. Welcoming award-winning artist and fashion illustrator, Cathy Graham to the Museum.
Once again, the Luncheon event fulfilled its promise of the return of stunning one-of-a-kind themed centerpieces created by top Valley design firms.
LuxePros had the pleasure of hosting a table filled with an eclectic and whimsical selection woven into just the right amount of wrong. Like a look into Alice’s mirror, all are blended into a setting ripe for wonderment, frivolity, and dialogue.
Outside the Looking Glass was a visual feast of everyday goods bedazzled and bewitched with color, texture, and whimsy. “Alice” was created by a Phoenix artist, Bobbi McMurry. Her work broaches a wide variety of subjects but at its core is emotion and her journey toward understanding personal situations and experiences.
The table décor was in acknowledgment of the lasting impressions creatives leave on the lives of others; in their careers and through philanthropic giving.
