Nature has always been a huge inspiration for me. It’s at the core of who we are as living creatures on this planet. Whether sitting at my desk looking out the window or going for a hike, I connect with nature. I am reminded of who I truly am and what is important in life. Nature is beautiful. Nature is healing. Nature is important.
As someone who believes in the importance of nature, I think it’s essential to find ways to connect with the outdoors in our daily lives. Since it is not always possible to spend all day every day exploring our world, we need to find ways to compensate so we can still experience nature’s benefits within our homes and workspaces.
A simple, low maintenance way, is to give your space a botanical boost with art:
Nature’s Lush Leaves
Double matted these lush leaves are floating on a jet black background, giving it a contemporary vibe. This is one of a series of complimentary foliage that you can’t help getting lost in.
Tranquility of Forests
A wispy watercolor of a pine laden forest. Pulling you along on a walk from paint dob to paint dob or melting into the background. The burlap mat behind the torn paper edge just adding to the outdoorsy feel.
Nature Studies
Reminding me that although many things in nature are the same, all are quite different. This thistle plant with its sometimes protective thorny bracts reveals a beautiful flower when left to bloom. Although this shadowbox is very still, the energy emitting from behind the glass is ready to burst.
Art can transform your home into a place you love to look at. It can help you stay grounded or whisk you away when you need to unwind.
